The Southern California Concrete Producers (SCCP) plays an active role in the education of its members. Our goal is to provide valued opportunities for our members to maximize their professional skills. However, our education programs are not restricted to just our members. News and Events

As part of their Urban Watershed Management Program, Santa Monica has constructed a Low Impact Development (LID) project on Bicknell Avenue. Completed in 2009, Bicknell Avenue incorporated many watershed innovations – permeable concrete was used for the parking lanes on the street. Read more

Pervious concrete pavement is a permeable pavement, often with an underlying stone reservoir, that captures rainfall and stores runoff before it infiltrates into the subsoil. This pervious surface replaces traditional pavement, allowing stormwater to infiltrate directly, permitting a naturally occurring form of water treatment. Read more
